The Log College

On October 26th of 2008, the new roadside marker was dedicated at the site of the Log College.  Members of the research committee stood for a photo at that event.  In the center foreground is Wendy Wirsch portraying the wife of The Log College founder, William Tennent. In her hands is a proclamation by Warminster Township proclaimed the week following the dedication as "Log College Monument Week".


As news and events surrounding the Log College history and its location in Warminster Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania become known, they will be published on this page.


Next year, Warminster Township is planning a celebration of the 300th year since its founding , in 1711.  The Log College site, its monument, and the home of William Tennent, the founder of the college, are located in this Township.  These long with many other places in township will be commemorated during the year.
